Mon, 9 Jun 2008 20:45:14 -0000 Camping Adventure at Killbear Provincial Park 3 days 2 nights camping at one of the provincial parks here in Ontario. It rained most of the time i dont know how I survived but I did, hahaha. The tent proved its worth, the washrooms were clean but I don't know if I am going again, but the view was worth it and the experience was totally different. By the way the bike trail was a challenge for a novice like me but it was beautiful, we were trying to find the lighthouse and followed the trail but did not realize it was about 9km altogether. It was worth it when whe got there, the views were breathtaking and the place was so serene but going back it rained again and we were soaked biking our way back to the campsite. Temperature stands at -14'C but feels like -25'C beat that.  Who would want to live out here where its cold half of the year? I got out from work this morning at 7:30, gee weez i had goose bumps in my lower extremities!  We have an extreme cold weather alert in the Greater Toronto Area, and it's no fun to go outside.  You have to dash your way to your car, your nose is watery an you won't even feel its dripping sometimes, yuck! Not to mention the 3 layers of clothing, the scarf and the gloves.
